Job Description:
We’re seeking a Creative Director to own the full creative pipeline for one of our YouTube channels . You will lead story and concept development, narrative clarity, script quality, storyboard direction, animation style, editing excellence, pacing, comedic timing, visual clarity, and all creative decisions that shape the final on-screen product.
Your mission is to elevate creative quality, ensure consistency, and drive performance across every video by owning both the conceptual and executional sides of the creative process.
About the Role
- Own the complete creative journey of each episode , from ideation and storytelling to animation, editing, and final polish.
- Develop a cohesive, efficient creative pipeline that blends vision with operational excellence.
- Set creative standards , templates, workflows, and narrative and visual identity guidelines for the channel.
What You’ll Do
- Lead ideation, story development, and concept creation for episodes and long-form content.
- Own script development, narrative clarity, and storyboarding direction.
- Direct the animation and editing teams to ensure the final output is top-tier and aligned with the brand.
- Oversee pacing, comedic timing, visual clarity, transitions, hooks, and retention-focused editing choices.
- Review, approve, and refine all scripts, outlines, storyboards, animatics, edits, animations, and final cuts.
- Develop templates, style guides, and frameworks to streamline both pre-production and production.
- Improve workflow efficiency and resolve creative or operational bottlenecks.
- Analyze data, performance insights, and top-performing videos to inform future creative decisions.
- Mentor writers, animators, editors, and producers in both storytelling and visual execution best practices.
About You
- You have a strong background in writing, story direction, creative leadership, animation direction, editing oversight, or narrative development.
- You understand storytelling for YouTube and digital-first platforms.
- You excel at improving scripts, refining storyboards, enhancing animation clarity, and elevating final edits.
- You’re a detail-obsessed creative with strong instincts in pacing, comedic timing, narrative structure, and visual storytelling.
- You’re comfortable leading teams, giving feedback, and organizing a creative pipeline.
- You’re passionate about crafting exceptional stories and transforming ideas into engaging, high-performing content.
- You enjoy both ideation and execution, and you thrive in roles that require full creative ownership.
