Technical Author (AI assisted Programming part-time)

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to design a course structure that meets the target audience’s needs.
- Create learning objectives for each module in partnership with instructional designers.
- Develop clear, concise, and comprehensive content for lessons, manuals, guides, synchronous online session outlines, and assessments (texts, draft slides, screencasts).
Iterate upon feedback.
- Appear as a speaker in our learning videos.
- Design the final project for the course.
- Ensure all content meets industry standards and aligns with the course objectives.
- Analyze student feedback and iteratively improve content.
- Optional: Participate as a teacher in synchronous online learning sessions (paid separately).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional coding experience in a large enterprise or similar environment.
- Hands‑on experience with AI tools and successful implementation cases.
- Proven track record in coding advocacy, tech leadership, conference participation, or mentoring.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Independent, self‑motivated work style.
- 10–15 hours of availability per week; Spanish‑speaking candidates preferred for Latin American time zones (optional).
Nice to Have
- Experience as a Technical Writer/Editor/Author or similar role.
- Experience in teaching or creating educational content.
- Personal experience as an online student.
- Interest in instructional design and education.
