We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive the next evolution of our 13-year-strong Quote Engine — a mission-critical system powering our quoting and pricing operations.
This is a high-impact role to design and ship features in a complex, high-throughput environment while modernizing a battle-tested platform for the next decade.
You'll work with product and engineering peers to deliver production code that scales with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain core components of our Quote Engine in production.Develop scalable, concurrent, and resilient services using modern patterns.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Vendor Management) to deliver features aligned with business goals.Implement event-driven and queue-based architectures with a focus on durability and fault tolerance.Contribute to operational excellence by writing observable, maintainable, and secure systems.Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality releases.Must-Have Technical Expertise5+ years experience designing, building, and maintaining features across backend (PHP, Python, or Go) and frontend (React)



with a focus.Proven experience building highly scalable, concurrent systems.Strong knowledge of:Multithreaded architectures, concurrency primitives, and non-blocking I/O.Distributed systems design (CAP trade-offs, consistency models).
Event-driven architectures and microservices (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, Service Bus).
Fault tolerance, back-pressure strategies, and circuit breakers.Familiarity with Azure (preferred) or other cloud platforms, including serverless orchestration.Solid understanding of authentication/security standards (OAuth 2.0, mTLS, secrets management).
