Remote.
Must be available 9am – 5pm EST.
What you'll do
Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Oversee all accounting functions including AP, AR, payroll,



and general ledger maintenance.
Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Strategic Planning & Analysis
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
Support the development of financial models for business planning and forecasting.
Conduct profitability analyses for different service lines and business units.
Internal Controls & Compliance
Develop and maintain strong internal control procedures.
Coordinate annual audits with external auditors.
Monitor and ensure compliance with tax laws, corporate governance, and financial regulations.
Lead and mentor a small finance team, ensuring professional growth and high performance.
Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and cost control measures.
Partner with operations and legal teams to ensure accurate billing and case-related financial reporting.
Qualifications




Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
Expertise in financial reporting.
Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial compliance requirements.
Deep understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance, and financial best practices.
Experience with Rippling (HRIS) and QuickBooks Online (Accounting) preferred.
Experience in professional services, legal, or consulting industry preferred.
