As a Backend you will be part of the Data Reconciliations Team.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain backend services that support data extraction, processing, and delivery
Develop APIs and microservices that enable data-driven applications and automation
Collaborate with the Data team to ensure data quality, governance, and accessibility
Optimize ingestion and transformation processes for scalability and performance
Participate in architectural decisions that impact our data infrastructure
Total ownership of your services, from design to production operation
Participate in an agile software development process
Work across both technical and business teams
Revolutionize the payment ecosystem in Latam
Build top technology along an experienced team
Minimum Qualifications
Proven experience as a Backend Engineer using Java & Python
Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)



and advanced SQL
Hands-on experience with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
Familiarity with ETL processes or data pipeline development
Experience using Git and working in agile environments
Analytical mindset and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Adaptability to a constantly changing roadmap
Autonomy in task execution
Ability to communicate complicated technical problems to both technical and business audiences
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the payment industry
Experience working in data-intensive environments or with data infrastructure
Familiarity with Spark, DBT, or similar data frameworks
Knowledge of Data Lakes and Data Warehouses
Background in payments or fintech industries




Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud environments (GCP or AWS)
