Visit our website to learn more.This Role Will Focus OnThe Sales Engineer position is critical for the performance of WM Argentina's operation, with key sectors like Food & Beverage, Water and Mining sectors being key pillars of the company.
The Sales Engineer should have a strong customer focus,
a consultive selling approach and relevant knowledge of the market to present and develop value-based strategies together with management to increase our market share in these sectors.As Sales Engineer, you will have the responsibility of both defending the installed base of products and customers and developing the sectors by leveraging in our strong solution portfolio for new customers.
The candidate should have a strong entrepreneurial mindset with strong self-initiative to develop and bring new ideas and plans to achieve growth in the sector.
To achieve this, we require the candidate to build solid relationships with customers and prospects, strong presence at customer sites will allow the Sales Engineer to learn and understand customer´s pains and needs to succeed in their role.What You'll Be DoingLeadership and ownership of the territory and its development.Defend the installed base of products.
Activate new customers and autogenerate business opportunities in the sectors like Food & Beverage,
Water and Mining.Strong customer focus and consultive selling approach in daily sales activities.Strong and disciplined CRM activity and Pipeline Management.Submit on a Weekly basis sales forecast.Deliver monthly sales quota.Complete at least 10 customer visits per week.Expand network of contacts in active customers and develop non-customers.Travel once or twice a month within the Center or North West of the country.Support and cooperate proactively with in the local Digital Strategy.Collaborative Teamwork.Who You'll Be Working WithYou will be working with the support of the General Manager – Andina Region in the development of the sectors.You will be supported internally by the Applications Engineer in technical aspects, and you will also have a fluid communication with WM Argentina's Sales Team.As Sales Engineer in charge of the Center or North West the country sector, it is your responsibility to build strong solid relations with customers,
these include end users, OEMs, engineering firms and consultants.This is what you'll need to be successful in this roleDegree Mechanical/ Chemical/ Industrial Engineering.Entrepreneurial Mindset.Territory Ownership.Strong Customer Focus and presence at customer sites.Value Added Selling & Consulting Selling ApproachStrong sales vocation, 5 years of experience in B2B technical sales of Premium products is a plus.3 years of experience with positive displacement pumps is also a plus.Selling experience in the mining sector is a significant plus.Full Spanish language proficiency (oral and written).English is a big plus for training and communication with factories.At Watson-Marlow, we believe in taking care of our colleagues.
