This role will focus on:

The Sales Engineer is critical for WM Argentina’s operations, focusing on sectors like Food & Beverage, Water, and Mining. The role requires a strong customer focus, a consultative selling approach,



and relevant market knowledge to develop value-based strategies with management to increase market share in these sectors.

The Sales Engineer will defend the installed base and develop new business by leveraging our solution portfolio. The candidate should have an entrepreneurial mindset, self-initiative, and strong relationship-building skills, with a focus on customer site presence to understand customer needs.

What you’ll be doing:

- Leading and owning the territory development.
- Defending existing products and activating new customers in key sectors.
- Using a consultative selling approach and maintaining disciplined CRM activities.
- Submitting weekly sales forecasts and achieving monthly quotas.
- Completing at least 10 customer visits weekly.
- Expanding contacts and developing non-customers.
- Traveling once or twice a month within the country.
- Supporting local Digital Strategy initiatives.
- Collaborating with team members.

Who you’ll be working with:

- Working with the General Manager – Andina Region on sector development.
- Supported by the Applications Engineer for technical aspects and communication with the sales team.




- Building strong relationships with end users, OEMs, engineering firms, and consultants.

What you need to be successful:

- Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and territory ownership.
- Strong customer focus and site presence.
- Value-added and consultative selling experience.
- At least 5 years in B2B technical sales of premium products (plus).
- Experience with positive displacement pumps (plus).
- Selling experience in mining (plus).
- Full proficiency in Spanish; English is a plus.
