This role will focus on:

The Sales Engineer position is critical for the performance of WM Argentina’s operation, with key sectors like Food & Beverage, Water, and Mining being key pillars of the company. The Sales Engineer should have a strong customer focus,



a consultative selling approach, and relevant market knowledge to develop value-based strategies with management to increase market share in these sectors.

As Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for defending the installed base of products and customers and developing the sectors by leveraging our strong solution portfolio for new customers. The candidate should have a strong entrepreneurial mindset with self-initiative to develop new ideas and plans for growth. Building solid relationships with customers and prospects is essential, with strong presence at customer sites to understand their pains and needs.

What you’ll be doing:

- Leadership and ownership of the territory and its development.
- Defend the installed base of products. Activate new customers and generate business opportunities in sectors like Food & Beverage, Water, and Mining.
- Maintain a strong customer focus and employ a consultative selling approach.
- Maintain disciplined CRM activity and pipeline management.
- Submit weekly sales forecasts.
- Deliver monthly sales quotas.




- Complete at least 10 customer visits per week.
- Expand network contacts within active customers and develop non-customer relationships.
- Travel once or twice a month within the Center or North West of the country.
- Support and cooperate proactively with the local Digital Strategy.
- Engage in collaborative teamwork.

Who you’ll be working with:

- You will work with the support of the General Manager – Andina Region for sector development.
- You will be supported internally by the Applications Engineer for technical aspects and maintain communication with WM Argentina’s Sales Team.
- As Sales Engineer for the Center or North West sector, you will build strong relationships with customers, including end users, OEMs, engineering firms, and consultants.

This is what you’ll need to be successful in this role:

- Degree in Mechanical,



Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ownership of the territory.
- Strong customer focus and presence at customer sites.
- Value-added and consulting selling approach.
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B technical sales of premium products is a plus.
- Experience with positive displacement pumps is a plus.
- Selling experience in the mining sector is a significant plus.
- Full proficiency in Spanish (oral and written).
- English proficiency is a plus for training and communication with factories.
