We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. As the Workday Specialist you will play a critical role in enhancing our Workday platform, optimizing processes, and providing strategic insights to support our organization's growth and success. Reporting to the Associate Director of HRIS Support, you will be responsible for overseeing Workday Benefits & Payroll, advanced configuration, system integrations, complex reporting, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a substantial impact by leveraging your expertise in Workday and HR systems management.

- Lead the strategic planning, design, and execution of complex Workday configurations, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices, while maximizing system capabilities.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics using Workday reporting tools, providing comprehensive HR insights to stakeholders and leadership.
- Architect and manage complex system integrations with Workday, including designing and maintaining integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, APIs, and other integration tools, ensuring seamless data flow between Workday and other systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating existing HR processes, identifying areas for optimization and automation, and proposing innovative Workday solutions to enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and user experience.




- Provide expert guidance and support in the optimization of Absence and Security Business Processes within Workday, streamlining HR operations, ensuring compliance, and enabling self-service functionality.
- Proactively monitor and evaluate the impact of Workday updates and releases on existing configurations and integrations, ensuring timely adoption of new features and functionalities, and minimizing disruption to HR operations.
- Lead and manage complex HRIS projects, including system upgrades, module implementations, data migrations, and process redesigns, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Collaborate closely with HR and IT teams, acting as the subject matter expert for Workday, providing technical guidance, conducting training sessions, and driving user adoption of Workday functionalities and best practices.
- Champion data integrity and governance within Workday,



implementing data quality controls, overseeing data validation efforts, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accurate and reliable HR data.
- Actively contribute to the development and execution of the HR technology roadmap, aligning Workday capabilities with the organization's strategic goals and evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and IT, to identify opportunities for system integration and process optimization, driving end-to-end process efficiencies and data accuracy across systems.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior HRIS analysts, fostering their growth, knowledge sharing, and continuous development within the Workday domain.

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a technical Workday specialist,



with a strong focus on advanced configuration, system administration, and integrations.
- Extensive expertise in multiple Workday modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence, Security, and Integrations, with a deep understanding of their underlying data structures, business processes, and security frameworks.
- Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing complex business process configurations within Workday, leveraging a deep understanding of Workday's configuration options, calculated fields, business process frameworks, and event-driven triggers.
- Strong proficiency in Workday reporting tools, including Report Writer, Workday Studio, and Composite Reporting, with the ability to design and develop complex reports, dashboards, and analytics to meet diverse HR reporting requirements.




- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing Workday system integrations, including building and maintaining integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, and APIs, and ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security across integrated systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday security and access controls, including configuring and maintaining security groups, roles, and permissions to enforce data privacy, segregation of duties, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues within the Workday platform, including data validation, system performance, interface failures, and error handling, while ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations.
- Solid understanding of HR data management principles, data conversion methodologies, and data governance best practices,



with the ability to assess data quality, identify data discrepancies, and propose effective data cleansing and validation strategies.
- Strong knowledge of Workday release management processes, including evaluating new features and enhancements, planning and executing release testing, and coordinating with stakeholders to implement changes seamlessly.
- Experience leading and managing HRIS projects, with a proven ability to oversee project lifecycles, define project scope and deliverables, manage project timelines and resources, and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex HR business requirements, propose innovative solutions, and translate them into scalable and efficient Workday configurations.
- Continuous learning mindset,



staying updated with the latest Workday releases, features, and industry best practices, and actively participating in Workday communities and professional development opportunities.
- Relevant Workday certifications, such as Workday HCM, Security, Absence, Integration, or Reporting certifications, are highly desirable.
