We are looking to accelerate our ability to deliver value to our customers. We need to deepen our expertise in building, managing, and scaling front-end
applications.
Job duties and responsibilities:
○ Enhance existing and build new features to support our product vision.
○ Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to deliver value to
users.
○ Iterate quickly by delivering small increments that enable fast feedback and
learning
○ Help establish and promote best practices for front-end development.
○ Mentor and coach more junior developers.
○ Participate in department-wide ideation and major initiatives
○ Ideal candidate would have proven record and potential to develop into a team
and department leader (e.g. Staff engineer and above)
Experience:
○ 5+ years of experience as a frontend software engineer with React
○ Should have extensive experience building, maintaining, and scaling a React
app in production with a primary focus on architecting a frontend app.
○ DevOps mindset, comfortable with supporting, monitoring, and deploying
applications.
○ Comfortable working in the backend, as needed.
○ Should ideally have the potential to develop into a Lead role.
○ Experience working in high-growth startups.
○ Knowledge of some of our core application stack (e.g. React + TypeScript)
○ Experience building and integrating with secure REST or GraphQL APIs.
○ Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases is highly desirable.
○ Background in factoring, SaaS, fintech, etc. is a plus.
○ Experience with backend languages such as Elixir is a plus.
○ Knowledge of Retool or other low-code application platforms is a plus.
