POSITION DESCRIPTION

Help  professionails (doctors) in pre surgical procedures, surgical and post surgical for proper operation and effectiveness of products and/or equipaments

Elaborating and implementing the Sales Plan according to specifics strategies, ensuring  achievement of financial goals in a sustainable and regular manner. Is also responsible for  technical support, training and promotional actions of the area.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (in priority order)


·       Identify commercial necessities and opportunities of the sector, proposing specifics actions to improve and increase sales.

·       Provide technical support to physicians by training and products promoting.





·       Keep up to date and apply sales techniques regularly.

·       Raise sector key information such as: volum, size and potential in order to provide relevant information to sales manager negotiate the objectives.

·       Have deep knowledge of hospital dynamic, mainly of purchase department, surgical center, medical, health plans, etc.

·       Always maintain in due order, the administrative and operational processes (files, e-mails, reports).

·       Obtain financial information of hospitals and provide complete support to finance department.

·       Follow-up competition performance.

·       Keep customers always updated about training programs, products, clinical trials and others.

·       Keep sales information always updated.

·       Continuously interact with customers in order to identify necessities and ensure a satisfaction level 

·       Align promotional strategies of the sector with marketing department.

·       Monitor changes and market trends – competitors, hospitals, health assistances, physicians, techniques in order to detect threats and opportunities.

·       Assure the established processes by Medtronic– sales rules, commercial policies, responsibilities related to distribution system, medical association, etc.

·       Provide support to professional education initiatives.  


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS  (MUST HAVEs)

EDUCATION REQUIRED

·       Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics or similar disciplines.Knowledge in Sales/Marketing

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

·       3+ years experience in marketing and sales

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

·       Intermediate English

PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

·       Customer and market oriented

·       Team oriented and good interpersonal skills

·       Challenge the status quo

·       Good communication

·       Basic IT knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
