Help Desk / Desktop Support consultant
con inglés avanzado para sumar al equipo de una importante multinacional
General responsibilities:
Communicates with clients and follow-up on all open and pending tickets; take
ownership and completely resolve all outstanding issues
Troubleshoots problems that involve trade-offs between cost containment and/or
timeliness of service
Articulates the business value and impact of advanced technical and non-
technical information with ease and the ability to know when to escalate
issues or trends
Provides effective production support including accurate problem
identification, ticket documentation and customer/vendor dialogue
Documents small-to-medium scale projects and delivers with minimal supervision
Demonstrates the ability to learn new technologies quickly in a self-driven
manner along with strong analytical, planning, problem-solving and decision-
making skills.
Take a proactive approach to clients' requirements and identify and resolve
recurring problems
Share and document ideas, solutions, improvements and process efficiencies
within team, enhancing content in existing knowledge management tools
Provide strategic improvements and suggestions back to management; critical
thinking required
Minimum of 3+ years of Desktop Support experience within a busy, high volume
support environment required
Experience in the operation of a remote desktop support group
Extensive experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory (group memberships,
shared drives access, policies, etc.), and Microsoft desktop applications (MS
Office Suite, Outlook, MS Lync)
Proven commercial experience supporting PC's, Laptops, servers and networks
Experience with remote access and Terminal Services (VPN/Citrix, LAN/WAN,
Modern web browsers, and mobile devices) required
Proficient with Microsoft Windows 7, MAC and newer operating system required
Advanced knowledge of desktops, servers, printers, peripheral devices (
Blackberry, iOS or Android technologies), client and connectivity technologies
Excellent professional/interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
at all levels required
Strong customer service, analytical, and problem resolution skills required
Ability to be a self-motivated team player, with strong organizational & time
management skills
Must be able to provide after hours and weekend support as needed
