Role Summary/Purpose:
Essential Responsibilities: The General Manager demonstrates accountability
for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will
integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the
organization, manage complex issues within functional areas area of expertise,
be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business
· Manage the acquisition and allocation of business resources in support of
business objectives
· Responsible for negotiations with venture partners, cost containment
efforts, and / or negotiation and administration of externally funded programs
· Responsible for resolving business issues, assuring neutral and equable
· Prepare business plans to identify required resources and develop strategies
for acquiring the same including non-traditional approaches, suppliers, or
· Execute approved resource acquisition plans with partners or other sources
of supply
· Coordinate and manage acquisition plans with internal contributors
(Sourcing, Manufacturing, Engineering)
· Develop and initiate strategies for resource acquisition and coordinate cost
containment efforts
· Deploy resource agreements to affected functions and assure effective
· Deploy flow-down of customer contractual requirements to functional
· Responsible for operating practices, establishing procedures and guidelines
. Manages and drives large and/or complex power plant projects through all
phases of design, procurement and construction
. Drives the target to achieve the required synergies in the region
. Supervises the allocated projects in Argentina and ensures delivery on time
and budget as well as achievement of other goals & objectives set by
. Demonstrate strategic and tactical knowledge to deliver excellence and drive
continuous improvement and compliance
. Build a diverse, high performing, collaborative team with a common vision
who consistently delivers results
. Work collaboratively inside and outside GE, to identify and leverage best
practices from other businesses, acquisitions, partners and customers.

Qualifications/Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
or college
. Spanish speaker with fluency in English
. Minimum of 15 years of project execution experience on large technology
driven infrastructure projects, with at least 7 of which must be in a senior
leadership position, with exposure to a projects environment
· Minimum of 5+ years of experience in developing broad-scoped business
relationships involving complex interactions or new partners
. Extensive experience in negotiation of complex contracts and sound
commercial understanding of project feasibility, market differentiation and
the power business generally
